Welcome!

At GreenGourmetToGo, we want to see a world where people joyfully nourish their bodies and spirits with fresh, delicious, real food. Our mission is to inspire you to eat well and to help empower you to do so. We believe that how you eat, in large part, determines how you feel. Good food is an essential building block in the foundation of wellness and good health, but crazy as it sounds, too many people don't know how to eat well.

How Can We Help?

Everything we do is aimed at helping to guide, teach, feed and of course inspire you, to make intentional and informed decisions about what and how you eat. We offer a variety of services that can help you eat well, reduce stress, learn more and be well.

Winter Farmers' Markets

Maybe CSAs are not your thing and you didn't participate in the Urban Oaks Winter CSA we just offered (and sold out of in nearly the blink of an eye!), but there are still options for eating fresh food and artisan goods close to the source even at this time of year.

The Fairfield Green Food Guide is a wealth of information on all things green and so of course, they have the most up-to-date listing of winter farmers' markets in the area. On a cold dreary day in the middle of January, when you're itching to get out of the house, the farmers' market is a great way to spend a morning with your family. You're likely to find artisan cheeses and breads, sustainably raised meat and poultry, baked goods, herbs, some greenhouse greens and other goodies to fill up your reusable sack. View the list of the markets in our area and make plans to visit one soon!

Quote of the Week

What's New?

Welcome to an Improved You in 2012!
January is a great time to re-evaluate areas of your life where you want to make improvements. It’s the time of year when we all can make a fresh start, often through changes in our eating habits.

Like many, you may want to lose weight, eat healthier, learn how to support your food sensitivities or simply learn how to enjoy new foods. Read more about how we can help>
